UI React Node.JS Lead in Chicago, IL | W2 Contract

We are seeking an experienced UI React Node.js Lead to provide technical leadership and customer-facing engagement for enterprise application development initiatives. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and offshore development teams, translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions., * Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale web applications using React.js and Node.js.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, and architects to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to onsite and offshore development teams.
• Drive architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Coordinate with QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and project roadblocks.
• Support cloud-native application development, API integrations, and microservices architecture.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in React.js, Node.js, modern web application architecture, cloud technologies, and distributed team leadership. This position requires strong communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment., * 12+ years of software development experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Engineering Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale web applications.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
• Experience coordinating and leading offshore development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and event-driven architectures.
