Job description

As a Test Lead specializing in Software Testing, Mobile Appium, and UI Automation, you will be responsible for leading testing activities, ensuring the quality of software products, and implementing testing strategies for mobile applications using Appium. Your primary focus will be on automating UI testing to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the testing process., 1. Lead and manage the software testing efforts, including planning, designing, and executing test cases for mobile applications

  1. Implement and maintain automated ui tests using appium for mobile platforms
  2. Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
  3. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects and ensure smooth functionality
  4. Analyze test results and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality
  5. Stay updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and technologies to enhance the testing process

Requirements

Do you have experience in iOS?, 1. Proficiency in software testing methodologies and best practices

  1. Experience in mobile app testing, specifically using appium
  2. Strong knowledge of ui automation testing tools and techniques
  3. Familiarity with agile and devops methodologies
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Good communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a testing team

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Software Testing, MobileAppium, and UI Automation are a plus

Experience with testing mobile builds for both iOS and Android platforms

Experience in mobile automation suite

Knowledge and prior experience with manual and automation testing.

Strong commitment to quality, self-motivation, and accountability to work assignments.

Responsible for coding, designing, building, maintaining, debugging, and enhancing existing automation framework, Mobile automation, or Web UI automation experience required.

Good understanding of backend integration, E2E, and RESTful API testing.

Develops and executes automated tests, analyzes test results, takes corrective action

Knowledge of test methodologies/strategies and test case design

A good analytical aptitude to apply quality assurance principles to all aspects of work.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with offshore and cross-functional teams.

Skilled in Python programming and libraries like requests, pymongo, boto3, paramiko, pandas, requests, etc.

Knowledge of Selenium, Appium, and Robot Framework

Good to have hands-on experience in QA Test Tools like Keysight, Valid-8, Jmeter, and POSTMAN.

Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS preferred.

Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of microservices principles and best practices.

Good to have hands-on experience working in Jenkins, Git, Jira, any test management system, etc.
