Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer (BHJOB1435_35459)

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer in the Division of Public Health, providing primary support for the Health Hazard Control Unit (HHCU) within the Environmental Health section, to design, build, and support applications and automation solutions that streamline business processes across the organization. This role focuses on developing enterprise-grade Power Apps, automated workflows, and integrated business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem., * Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse

• Create automated workflows to improve business efficiency and replace manual processes
• Build and optimize Dataverse tables, business rules, relationships, and logic
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party systems
• Develop custom connectors, data models, and forms for enterprise applications
• Troubleshoot application issues, workflow failures, and performance problems
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
• Maintain documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and user guides
• Follow best practices for environment strategy, security, ALM, and governance
• Work with security roles, DLP policies, and administrative processes to ensure solution compliance

Do you have experience in Software implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation - 7 years required

• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Virtual Agent, and Dataverse - 7 years required
• Knowledge of SQL database structure - 7 years required
• Strong SQL skills and experience integrating with databases - 7 years required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - 7 years required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - 7 years required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team - 7 years required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - 7 years required
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher - highly desired

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience with Power BI, Power Pages, or RPA / Power Automate Desktop
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD pipelines
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher certification

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher (preferred)
