Job description
We are seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprisescale data solutions on Salesforce Data Cloud. This role blends strategic solutioning with handson configuration, ensuring that business data needs are translated into scalable, highperforming Data Cloud capabilities.
You will partner with business, architecture, and engineering teams to define data strategy, design data models, orchestrate ingestion pipelines, and configure Data Cloud features endtoend. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture, data engineering, and platform configuration
Key Responsibilities

Lead the endtoend architecture of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and business outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models, identity resolution strategies, and activation patterns.
- Define ingestion, harmonization, and unification approaches across structured, semistructured, and streaming data sources.
- Architect data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Data Cloud.
- Provide thought leadership on Data Cloud capabilities, roadmap, and best practices.
- Configure Data Cloud components including Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Bundles, Identity Resolution Rules, Calculated Insights, and Segments.
- Build and optimize ingestion pipelines using connectors, APIs, and ETL tools.
- Implement data transformations, harmonization rules, and unification logic.
- Configure activation targets such as Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, and external systems.
- Troubleshoot ingestion failures, mapping issues, and identity resolution conflicts
- Work closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, marketing teams, and CRM product owners.
- Support business stakeholders with data exploration, segmentation logic, and activation use cases.
- Provide technical leadership during discovery, design workshops, and sprint planning.
Requirements
If you re entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and eager to make an impact in the Salesforce ecosystem, you ll thrive here., * 6+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, data architecture, or enterprise data platforms.

Minimum 1 year of strong handson experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform), while 2+ years preferred.

Certified Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
- Strong understanding of data modeling, identity resolution, MDM concepts, and segmentation.
- Handson experience configuring Data Cloud components (DMOs, Data Streams, Calculated Insights, Segments, Activation Targets).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, APIs, and data integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud, or Marketing Cloud Engagement).
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to lead workshops, create architecture diagrams, and communicate complex concepts clearly
Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications such as:
- Application Architect / System Architect
- Integration Architect
- Marketing Cloud Consultant
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) or MDM tools.
Background in analytics, customer 360 programs, or enterprise data modernization.
