Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Analyst to support, maintain, enhance, and upgrade legacy and current Oncology applications within a healthcare environment. This role will work closely with clinical teams, physicists, IT teams, and vendors to ensure continuity of oncology operations, successful system upgrades, and optimal application performance., * Support, maintain, and upgrade Oncology applications across clinical environments.

  • Collaborate with clinicians, physicists, IT teams, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted oncology operations during system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute upgrades across servers, virtual machines, workstations, and application environments.
  • Conduct system validation, regression testing, and integration testing to ensure successful implementations and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, server, and interface-related issues to maintain operational continuity.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support during go-live and hypercare periods.
  • Monitor and address post-upgrade performance issues and application stability concerns.
  • Support EMR and HL7 interface integrations and assist in diagnosing interoperability issues.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, change control, and operational readiness activities.
  • Coordinate upgrade schedules, testing plans, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows Server administration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The ideal candidate will bring strong Healthcare IT experience, hands-on knowledge of Radiation Oncology systems, and a solid understanding of clinical oncology workflows, integrations, infrastructure, and application support., * 5+ years of Healthcare IT experience supporting clinical or oncology applications.

  • Experience supporting Oncology or Radiation Oncology applications within healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical oncology workflows and healthcare application support.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and/or upgrading Oncology applications and related systems.
  • Experience with HL7 integrations, troubleshooting, and interface validation.
  • Experience supporting Windows servers, virtual environments, and Citrix infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies including system validation and regression testing.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, vendors, and technical teams.

Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
