Network Technician

• Lead onsite installation teams during overnight deployment projects
• Coordinate daily project activities and serve as the onsite lead technician
• Install and replace network infrastructure equipment including wireless access points, routers, switches, WLAN controllers, and modems
• Perform structured cabling and physical network infrastructure installations
• Ensure installations meet project quality standards and timelines
• Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members
• Troubleshoot physical installation issues in the field
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment
• Travel to customer locations as required

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, This position is ideal for a hands-on field technician with strong leadership experience who has successfully led installation teams in retail, consumer, or industrial environments. Candidates should possess extensive experience installing network infrastructure in a Layer 1 capacity and be comfortable working overnight shifts and traveling to project locations.

Retail deployment experience is strongly preferred., * 6+ years of combined experience as a Site Support Technician, Infrastructure Technician, Network Technician, or similar role

• 3+ years of experience working in retail, consumer, and/or industrial environments
• 3+ years of experience serving as an onsite team lead
• 3+ years of experience installing network equipment in a Layer 1 capacity, * Wireless Access Points (APs)
• Network Switches
• Routers
• WLAN Controllers
• Modems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Network Hardware and Rack Equipment

Note: Network configuration experience is not required. This position focuses on physical installation and deployment activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail store deployment experience
• Multi-site rollout experience
• Low-voltage cabling experience
• Wireless deployment experience
• Experience leading crews during large-scale technology refresh projects
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas when necessary
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical installation work for extended periods
• Ability to travel extensively as project requirements dictate

Schedule

This is an Overnight Position

Most work is performed after business hours to minimize operational disruptions. Candidates must be willing and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and travel assignments as required.
