Integration Specialist in Telco (OCS / CCS Integration Engineer)

Recruiting for a stable European IT & Telecom R&D firm in Slovakia, active since 1997, serving global IT, finance, and telecom leaders. They’re expanding their specialized IT & Telco division and need an Integration Specialist to connect complex network architectures with billing frameworks, enabling large telecom operators to deploy reliable real-time charging., As an Integration Specialist in TELCO, you will be responsible for the design, integration, configuration, testing, and deployment of telecom charging and billing systems, focusing specifically on SurePay and Nokia Converged Charging (NCC) platforms. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• System Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of charging capabilities with network elements, service platforms, mediation systems, and billing environments within a telecom operator’s infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with core network, IT, mediation, and service delivery teams to guarantee reliable charging flows for prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid services.
• Flow Design & Deployment: Mapping out and managing IMS charging flows, VoLTE/VoNR charging, and packet core architectures.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Analyzing logs, troubleshooting complex interface issues, and providing production deployment support for large mobile operator environments.

• A minimum of advanced English skills is required, equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5-9.0.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in telecom systems integration, specifically with charging/billing platforms, OCS/CCS, or charging mediation.
• Strong technical expertise with Diameter charging interfaces, alongside deep knowledge of SS7, SIP, and HTTP/REST protocols.
• Solid understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile network and Packet Core architectures.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, SQL databases, and shell scripting (PERL, CSH, KSH).
• Experience handling API integration, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and containerized environments.
• Direct prior experience with SurePay, Nokia NCC, or large-scale mobile operator prepaid systems (desirable)
