Job description
We are seeking an experienced System Architect to support enterprise technology initiatives by evaluating technical architectures, identifying dependencies, assessing risks, and guiding solution implementation. The System Architect will collaborate with project teams, technical architects, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards, align with business objectives, and support successful project outcomes., <>Technical Architecture Review & Assessment
- Evaluate project deliverables, technical documents, and architectural artifacts to identify dependencies, discrepancies, risks, and potential downstream impacts.
- Review and recommend revisions to technical deliverables, schedules, and project documentation.
- Assess business and technical architecture requirements for new and existing systems.
- Conduct technical impact analyses to support strategic decision-making.
<>Architecture Planning & Design
- Analyze and recommend architectural solutions and design alternatives.
- Develop architecture options, including trade-off analysis, benefits, costs, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Support the development of bridging architecture solutions that enable business continuity during phased system deployments.
- Evaluate technical dependencies and implementation implications across enterprise environments.
<>Project & Technical Governance
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, SMEs, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure technical objectives are achieved.
- Monitor technical deliverables and implementation activities for quality, completeness, and timeliness.
- Assist in estimating technical resource utilization and project needs.
- Ensure adherence to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and standards.
<>Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, document, track, and communicate technical risks and architectural concerns.
- Analyze technical issues and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical technical challenges and dependencies as necessary.
- Provide ongoing reporting on technical findings, risks, schedule impacts, and resource considerations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in enterprise system architecture and solution design.
- Expertise in technical dependency analysis and impact assessment.
- Experience evaluating business and technical architecture requirements.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and governance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical SMEs, architects, and stakeholders.
- Experience preparing architecture recommendations, technical analyses, and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills., * Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with system integrators, third-party vendors, and complex technology environments.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend architecture options based on business, technical, cost, risk, and schedule considerations.
