Systems Administrator - Centennial, CO

The System Administrator position performs critical IT activities in support of the users. This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all servers, network operating systems, backup systems and production database servers. This position ensures that all systems meet the program standards for the production environments., * Direct role in data center operations & backup management.

• Server asset (Physical & Virtual) management.
• Backup, Restore monitoring & Trouble shooting.
• Work with engineers to diagnose and repair hardware problems in lab environments.
• Document and communicate status, procedures, and plans.
• All other duties as assigned., * This is a full-time position
• Telecommuting is currently authorized for this position
• 90$ Remote / 10% On-Site located in Centennial, CO.
• Must participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation.
• Must be available to work some evenings in the support of maintenance activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4 years experience.
• Microsoft Windows Server experience required.
• Basic networking, Windows and MS Office knowledge is a must.

Physical requirements

• Deployment to Antarctica may be possible in this position at discretion of management. If offered, the individual in the position must successfully complete the physical and dental examinations, as required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica.

• Individual must be capable of operating a standard desktop computer; must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
