Job description

The Trades Processing and Settlements domain within Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology (BRT) builds and supports industry leading brokerage solutions. You’ll work with the Trades Processing product team, developing Kafka based Event Driven Applications and Restful APIs. You have the expertise and experience in designing complex solutions and systems with reusability in mind and can handle high TPS traffic with low latency. This experience is essential since the opening is for someone who can design, architect and build solutions for the future and accelerate our modernization squads.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Stream Processing?, * Experienced with the tools of the cloud engineering trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks.

  • 6+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot is expected for this role.
  • Experience working with Apache Kafka applications is a must have.
  • Experience working with AWS managed solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch, Route53, IAM roles/policies etc. is preferred.
  • You have a passion for Automation Testing using frameworks like Cucumber Are a creator, a doer, and a disruptor who will help us tackle real-life problems and meet real customer needs.
  • You’ll be helping us build things, taking an idea, and creating rapid prototypes that are shippable and learn from real-life feedback.
  • Prioritize cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles
  • Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot & Web Development
  • Hands-on experience working with Apache Kafka and Event Driven Applications that use Messaging solutions.
  • Hands on experience in Restful APIs & Microservices particularly spring boot apps Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker) Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling etc with relational database.
  • Experience in AWS EKS and AWS manages solutions such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices etc.
  • Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
  • Knowledge on CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform etc.)
