Principal Hardware / Electrical Engineer (Medical Device Experience Required)

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Please Note: Embedded Software/Firmware Engineering experience in the medical device industry is an ABSOLUTE MUST for this position.

“Must Have” Position Requirements

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience with demonstrated hands-on analog or mixed-signal hardware depth including at least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing analog and digital circuit schematics; able to evaluate design decisions and provide substantive feedback to hardware teams.
• Experience interfacing with contract manufacturers or external design partners on hardware development.
• Sufficient familiarity with software/firmware development to engage meaningfully with developers and identify system-level risks; not expected to write firmware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

“Nice to Have” Skills

• Electrical Engineering experience with Cardiac medical devices.
• Background in analog front-end design, biopotential signal acquisition, or electrical stimulation systems.
• Prior experience in an early-stage medical device company with direct involvement from concept through regulatory submission., * Electrical engineering: 7 years (Required)
