Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer I to support the integration and testing of advanced hardware and software systems used in military vehicle platforms. This role offers hands-on experience working with embedded software, tactical hardware, networking, troubleshooting, and system testing in both lab and vehicle environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware and software integration testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Support software verification and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Participate in software design, requirements, and code reviews.
  • Analyze test results and document findings.
  • Support system-level testing and integration activities.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure quality and performance requirements are met.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Programming languages?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.

  • Internship or hands-on experience with software development, integration, or testing.
  • Programming experience in C, C#, C++, or Python.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Linux experience.
  • Embedded or Real-Time Operating Systems experience.
  • Knowledge of CAN, J1939, Ethernet, or Serial protocols.
  • Experience using test equipment and troubleshooting tools.
  • Understanding of basic electronics and circuitry., * Are you eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance?
  • How much experience do you have with embedded software integration, testing, or software verification?
  • Which programming languages have you used professionally or academically (C, C#, C++, Python)?
  • Have you worked with Linux, embedded systems, CAN Bus, Ethernet, J1939, or Serial communication protocols?
  • Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM field?
