Job description

Entry Level position performing general software engineering work of varying complexity on assigned tasks autonomously with guidance and support available., * Performs software design, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.

  • Applies standard software engineering discipline, processes, and tools to complete various project subtasks.
  • Interacts with customers in all phases of software development lifecycle.
  • Analyzes existing information systems and applications to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
  • Develops software development skills in a collaborative/team environment.
  • Generates software documentation and performs requirements-based verification and validation testing of software to assure all requirements are met.
  • Develops application specifications, conversion, and migration designs; supports maintenance of applications, as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Testing (project management phases)?, * Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other equivalent ABET accredited Engineering program.

  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
