Database Administrator

Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties:

· Database Administration & Operations.

· Administer pharmacy database systems used for prescription processing, patient records, inventory tracking, and billing operations.

· Ensure data accuracy, availability, and integrity across systems.

· Monitor daily database activities and system health.

· Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

· Monitor database performance and resolve system slowdowns.

· Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and application connectivity issues.

· Data Security & Compliance

· Manage user access and permissions.

· Implement encryption, audit logging, and security controls.

· Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements

· Backup, Recovery & Disaster Management.

· Perform scheduled backups and recovery testing.

· Support disaster recovery processes.

· Database Development & Maintenance.

· Maintain database structures (tables, indexes, views).

· Support database upgrades and migrations.

· System Integration & Data Flow.

· Support integration between pharmacy systems, EHR platforms, billing, and inventory tools.

· Ensure smooth data flow across applications.

· Reporting & Data Analysis

· Generate reports on prescriptions, inventory, and billing data.

· Support & Coordination

· Assist pharmacy staff with system issues.

· Coordinate with vendors for updates.

Do you have experience in HIPAA?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s Degree is required in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering
