Requirements

  • Active Public Trust Tier 2 baseline clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence
  • 5+ years of experience leading network security architecture and Zero Trust enforcement
  • Expert-level Cisco enterprise network design and architecture experience across core, distribution, access, and edge layers
  • Experience working in federal environments subject to FISMA and NIST SP 800-53 compliance guidelines
  • Hands-on implementation of Zero Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207) elements including segmentation, micro-segmentation, and continuous verification
  • Proven experience leading or actively participating in security assessments, audits, and NIST RMF remediation programs
  • Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS for switch, router, and firewall configurations
  • Hands-on experience with 802.1X port-based NAC design, configuration, and enforcement
  • Experience integrating network devices with enterprise SIEM platforms for log forwarding, normalization, and alerting architecture
  • Experience configuring and deploying Network Detection and Response (NDR) tools
  • Experience implementing Cisco Secure Configuration Guides for device hardening and encryption enforcement
  • Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN architecture and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to execute formal change management and brief senior agency leadership on complex network matters

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Cisco professional or expert-level credentials maintained for a minimum of 5 years, such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or CCIE
