Embedded Software Engineer

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Tasks will involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. The successful candidate will have training in C/C++, prior experience in GUI development, experience with Linux OS, and previous intern experience., Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Bachelors degree from accredited university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related major.

Ability to obtain DoD Clearance

Experience with C/C++ programming.

Desired skills

Multi-core and multi-threaded C/C++ programming.

Experience with Operating Systems (OS) such as Linux, Windows, Unix, VxWorks, etc.

Hardware/Software integration (embedded systems)

Working in large code base.

DevSecOps tool chain experience.

Agile/Scrum practices.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
