Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting Developer to design, develop, and maintain batch processing and automation solutions in a UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in shell scripting, system administration automation, and leading development efforts within an agile framework., * Design, develop, and maintain shell scripts using Bash and Korn Shell (ksh)
- Develop and implement batch processing solutions for automation of system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient and scalable solutions
- Execute and optimize SQL logic using SQL Plus in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, scripts, and system processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and issue resolution
- Lead and mentor small development teams within an agile project environment
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Maintain technical documentation and support deployment processes
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team development?, * 7+ years (84 months) of experience writing Bash and Korn Shell (ksh) scripts
- 7+ years of experience working within UNIX/Linux environments via command line
- 6+ years (72 months) of experience developing batch processing and automation solutions
- 6+ years of experience performing requirement analysis and solution design
- 5+ years (60 months) of experience leading development teams in an agile environment
- 3+ years (36 months) of experience using SQL Plus to execute SQL queries in UNIX/Linux, * Advanced shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell)
- UNIX/Linux system administration and command-line operations
- Batch processing and job automation
- SQL and database interaction using SQL Plus
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Agile methodologies and team leadership
- Strong analytical and communication skills
