IT Software Development Specialist Sr. | Senior Data Engineer (Azure / Snowflake) - Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on building and supporting enterprise data solutions in modern cloud environments. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, cloud-based integrations, and data architecture that support critical business operations and analytics initiatives., The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, data integration tools, and modern ETL/ELT processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies while helping drive data transformation and innovation across the organization., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and integration solutions.

• Build and support cloud-based data platforms using Azure and Snowflake technologies.
• Develop data ingestion processes utilizing tools such as Fivetran and HVR.
• Create and optimize data transformation workflows using dbt Labs.
• Design, implement, and maintain data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support data governance, lineage, security, and integrity initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including data mappings, ETL designs, and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in deployment processes utilizing Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Provide production support and performance tuning for enterprise data environments.

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Streams, Tasks, and data pipeline processing.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-based data architectures.
• Advanced SQL and database development skills.
• Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of batch and near real-time data integration methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills., * Experience with Fivetran, HVR, and dbt Labs.
• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or .NET technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality best practices.
• Experience working in enterprise cloud data environments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of computers and technology.
