Job description
Mission Objectives ? The DMEA Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the management, sustainment, and cybersecurity operations of all Information Technologies throughout DMEA. The Intermediate Information Security Specialist will provide cybersecurity expertise embedded within the ITO Portfolio Management Office (PfMO) project management team. This position ensures that all projects incorporating hardware or software are integrated with appropriate cybersecurity controls, that DMEA mission systems maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance, and that system authorization packages are developed and maintained to support Authorizing Official (AO) decisions. The role is critical to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DMEA information assets across the enterprise., * Apply current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Perform compliance activities for Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance processes and inspections for DMEA mission systems; assist in the development of all associated documentation
- Develop and maintain a knowledgebase on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards and ensure compliance throughout the organization
