Job description

The Support Analyst’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Provides backup support for PAC’s administration, telecommunications, Multi-Function printers, and other printers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a business degree desirable. 2-year degree may be substituted if in combination with 4 or more years of progressively more advanced experience. Further experience in the field may be substituted for a formal degree.

3 or more years of experience in positions relating to computer hardware and software support.

Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and meet satisfactory motor vehicle record requirements.

Must maintain and provide proof of his/her own auto insurance policy.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Firm understanding of computer applications.

Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Technical and problem solving skills related to computerized processes.

Knowledge of health care field preferred.
