Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of application development experience, ideally full-stack Anthropic Claude certification at the Architect level Working understanding of what a knowledge engineer does, and fluency with semantic layers and ontologies, such as RDF, OWL, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs Proficiency across front-end and back-end work in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack Strong fundamentals in data modeling and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL Comfort working independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment Nice to Have Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or Computer Science Experience in life sciences, pharma, or another regulated industry, such as GxP, HIPAA, or 21 CFR Part 11 Familiarity with FAIR data principles, SHACL validation, or DCAT/data-product modeling Hands-on cloud deployment experience with Azure or AWS Docker experience Experience integrating data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Stardog Do you have questions regarding your application?

Day in the Life Build full-stack features across a TypeScript / Express / React / PostgreSQL codebase - from API and data model through to UI Develop assessment logic that translates FAIR principles, semantic layers, and ontologies into scoring, validation, and remediation features Work with AI-assisted tooling, including Claude Code, as a core part of the development workflow, and help shape how we use it Harden the platform for enterprise use - security, audit trails, regulated-industry compliance, and on-premise/private-cloud deployment Integrate external systems such as data lakehouses, catalogs, and knowledge-graph stores Write clean, tested, maintainable code - strong typing, real test coverage, no stubs or placeholders Partner with the founder on roadmap, architecture, and technical trade-offs What’s in it for You Join a dynamic team with a Start-Up atmosphere supported by strong roots of 30 years of successful business in Europe.
