Job description

  • Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using NestJS 9.4.0 and TypeScript

  • Build and optimize real-time communication systems using MQTT (AWS IoT Core), WebSocket, and Server-Sent Events (SSE)

  • Work with PostgreSQL databases implementing read/write separation strategies

  • Implement caching strategies using Redis 7.1.0 (ioredis)

  • Develop asynchronous processing workflows with BullMQ

  • Migrate and optimize infrastructure from EC2 to ECR/ECS containerized deployments

  • Collaborate with Android and web teams to deliver seamless integration

  • Monitor system health using Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry

  • Contribute to architectural decisions for our 2026 roadmap

  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 1-4 years of professional backend development experience

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript

  • Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks (Express, Fastify)

  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development

  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

  • Familiarity with Redis or similar caching systems

  • Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows

  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and debugging skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CodeDeploy, IoT Core, ECS/ECR)

  • Knowledge of real-time protocols: MQTT, WebSocket, Server-Sent Events

  • Experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, SQS)

  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration

  • Understanding of microservices architecture and monorepo management (Turborepo)

  • Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry

  • Knowledge of database optimization and query performance tuning

  • Background in high-traffic, real-time applications (restaurant tech, hospitality, e-commerce)

  • Experience with React Query or understanding of frontend-backend integration
