Job description

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, supporting a senior-level technology team. The role offers the chance to work on enterprise software solutions, API development, database integrations, and production-ready Python applications in a financial services technology environment.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Build, test, and deploy scalable Python-based applications, APIs, scripts, and back-end services.
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into working software solutions.
  • Integrate applications with databases, third-party platforms, internal systems, and RESTful APIs.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with engineering best practices.
  • Support unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application reliability efforts.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD activities, and Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

Are you an experienced Python developer ready to make an impact in risk technology?

  • 10+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Python expertise.
  • Strong experience developing server-side applications, APIs, automation scripts, and back-end services.
  • Experience with Python frameworks and libraries used for enterprise application development.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database integration, version control, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience working with relational databases and integrating applications with internal/external data sources.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps tools, front-end technologies, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
