Computer Systems Engineer III 1227

Work with clients to understand business needs and technical requirements. Translate needs/requirements into plans for new computer systems. Deploy new systems pursuant to agreed upon plans. Monitor systems for stability, security and other key indicators and respond to incidents accordingly. Provide regular updates to client stakeholders. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients. Apply knowledge of the following: Creating backup and Restore Policies, Scheduling and performing manual Backups, Managing Devices and Storage Nodes, EMC Networker.

Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Two (2) years of the aforementioned five years of progressively responsible experience must have included: Creating backup and Restore Policies, Scheduling and performing manual Backups, Managing Devices and Storage Nodes, EMC Networker. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients.
