Job description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Tester to join our team for a leading client in the Energy & Utility sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools

Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation
Perform API testing and validate backend services
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies

Requirements

Strong experience in QA Automation Testing
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright
Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Must have ETRM application testing experience.
Must have hands-on automation test script development, we want hands-on developers)
Experience: 10 years, * Experience in the Energy & Utility domain
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Basic understanding of database testing (SQL), * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
