Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced electrical systems leader to take full ownership of the electrical scope within a growing product line. This role is responsible for driving electrical system performance, deployment consistency, manufacturability, margin performance, and long-term scalability across complex modular and mission-critical environments.
This is a builderâs role that requires someone who can bridge engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operations while creating standardized systems that improve deployment efficiency and product performance., * Own electrical system performance, deployment consistency, cost structure, and margin performance for an assigned product line
- Build, mature, and continuously improve the electrical operating system
- Lead and develop a dedicated team consisting of:
- Electrical Project Manager
- Electrical Designer
- Electrical Manufacturing SME
- Electrical Construction Lead
- Drive alignment between product design, manufacturing integration, and field deployment execution
- Influence electrical distribution strategies, panelization approaches, grounding systems, and controls integration
- Ensure electrical designs support manufacturability, repeatability, and deployment efficiency
- Partner with leadership across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and construction teams
- Improve sourcing strategies, component standardization, and deployment methodologies
- Support takt-based manufacturing environments and reduce field installation variability
- Lead field deployments and commissioning efforts during project launches
- Establish structured feedback loops that drive continuous product improvement
- Improve deployment predictability, scalability, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Support long-term electrical systems strategy for future product growth
- Travel to active project sites to support construction, deployment, and commissioning activities
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, or high-reliability electrical systems environments
- Experience leading complex electrical systems from design through deployment
- Strong background in:
- Electrical design coordination
- Manufacturing integration
- Construction execution
- Operational deployment
- Experience managing electrical budgets, cost performance, and margin accountability
- Deep understanding of:
- NEC
- NFPA standards
- Grounding and bonding systems
- Electrical power distribution
- Experience with:
- Switchgear
- Generators
- UPS systems
- Utility coordination
- Mission-critical redundancy architectures
- Commissioning processes
- Ability to review and evaluate:
- Electrical drawings
- One-line diagrams
- Specifications
- Technical documentation
- Experience integrating commissioning and operational performance into design processes
- Strong leadership and team development experience
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Data center or mission-critical facility experience
- Prefabrication or modular construction experience
- Experience driving standardization and deployment consistency
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Master Electrician License
- Large-scale field leadership experience
