Campus Data Controller (Grades: 9-12)

• Collect all data required to maintain systems supporting transcripts, grade reporting, rank-in-class, student scheduling, school master schedule, instructors file, special needs, LPAC/Bilingual, busing, immunization, social security/state ID numbers, city and state and country of birth, language surveys, college entry codes, TAG program, dropout recovery, and student demographic data.
• Verify the accuracy of all processed data, recognize discrepancies, and take corrective action in support of PEIMS and court reporting requirements.
• Complete all input documents and update student database via electronic data transmission to maintain systems supported including the school instructor file, student demographic and enrollment data, and grade reporting.
• Enter course master of all courses offered on campus and input into the database.
• Understand and correctly use computer for systems supported including data transmission, student database inquiry, printed products, grade reporting, and attendance.
• Request, pick up, and distribute all student database products to appropriate school offices and/or personnel.
• Understand and interpret student database products and their uses.
• Communicate and work with other offices within the building, school district, and other school districts.
• Plan and schedule tasks, taking into consideration school priorities and the departmental calendar.
• Implement, and maintain a manual recordkeeping system for documentation of systems supported.
• Attend scheduled department workshops to maintain current knowledge of systems.
• Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment /alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel. All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate.
