Job description

Provides top-level strategic executive leadership oversight, vision, and direction and acts as a key advisor for the enterprise’s systems security and data integrity in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and best practices., * Acts as the top-level officer to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors with primary accountability for enterprise-wide systems security and data integrity.

  • Participates in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the Executive management team.
  • Develops and monitors short- and long-term security standards and best practices to ensure security tools and technical designs comply with the stated corporate mission.
  • Provides final approval for strategic information systems security plans; organizes, and leads testing and execution of information systems security architecture, technical designs, and implementation plans.
  • Drives technology risk and change management priorities by analyzing and evaluating results against plans to anticipate and mitigate risks aligned with strategic goals.
  • Monitors the execution of strategic plans for disaster recovery, business continuity, and related functions to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Analyzes and resolves escalated IT security related issues and recommends or takes corrective action.
  • Develops and monitors adherence to operational and strategic forecasts, budgets, models, and long-range plans to allocate resources and maintain cost controls in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Directs the development and production of reporting tools, key performance metrics, and policies used to analyze and identify trends in operating expenses, project spending, headcount, and risks/opportunities.
  • Proactively addresses and resolves conflict and helps others navigate ambiguity to determine effective courses of action.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, standards of conduct, ethics, competitive landscape, and related policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
  • Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management and recognition; holds direct reports accountable for developing staff competency in their areas of responsibility.
  • Provides and supports recognition for organizational leaders and key contributors.

Requirements

Qualifications - Education - Field(s)/Profession(s)

  • Information systems or a related field.

Qualifications - Education - Preferred

  • MBA - Master of Business Administration, * Requires 15+ years of related experience, with 10+ years of progressive experience in management, including senior management.
  • Thorough knowledge of management principles and techniques with advanced business and executive leadership skills.
  • Requires extensive experience managing major budgetary functions, overseeing contract management and program delivery, and leading investment initiatives.
  • Requires extensive experience with mergers, acquisitions. and corporate financial planning and operations.
  • Business acumen, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative, visionary, and entrepreneurial mindset and motivational abilities.
  • Maturity, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, integrity, and adherence to ethical standards.

The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience.
