Job description

Develop and maintain tools and services for Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence.
Automate administrative tasks and workflows using Bash, Python, and PHP.
Develop software with Java.
Apply IaC principles with Ansible.
Implement CI/CD using GitLab.
Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
Manage source code with Git.
Create documentation for configurations and procedures., * Design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Utilize Linux CLI and Linux Tools.
Write Bash, Python, and PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
Perform extensive software development using Java.
Employ integrated development environments such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK) or Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as Ansible.
Create documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
Work with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Deploy containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration.
Manage source code with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration.
(Desired) Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
(Desired) Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment.
(Desired) Experience with interacting/training external customers.
