Job description

The Technical Customer Support Specialist - Industrial Pumps is responsible for providing high-quality customer service and technical support throughout the order lifecycle. This role assists customers with product inquiries, order processing, and application support while working closely with engineering and operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

· Provide customer service support by responding to technical inquiries regarding industrial pump products and applications

· Assist Application Engineers in understanding OEM customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions

· Prepare and deliver customer quotations using internal systems

· Process customer orders accurately using ERP system (Syspro preferred)

· Ensure smooth order flow from entry through delivery using document management systems

· Communicate with internal teams and sister companies to coordinate order fulfillment

· Support customers throughout the order lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of issues

· Maintain and monitor industrial spare parts inventory

· Review incoming orders for accuracy and quality compliance

· Provide basic troubleshooting and technical guidance to customers as needed

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities., · High school diploma or GED diploma and two (2) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. 3-5 years of experience with industrial pumps (centrifugal or turbine preferred)

  2. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams

  3. Experience supporting OEM customers or account management

  4. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  5. Experience with ERP systems (Syspro a plus)

  6. Strong math, communication, and teamwork skills.

  7. German language skills are a plus, but not required
