Job description

We are looking for a Software Development Coordinator - Junior Developer to help support and improve our custom internal business application.

This is a hands-on role that combines software coordination, testing, troubleshooting, and junior-level development. You’ll work directly with the companies owner and employees to understand issues and enhancement requests, help organize development work, test completed features, and occasionally implement smaller improvements yourself.

You’ll collaborate closely with the offsite Lead Software Engineer while helping ensure development work remains organized, well-documented, and moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for software issues and enhancement requests
  • Meet with the companies owner and users to understand business needs and workflows
  • Investigate and document bugs, errors, and feature requests
  • Create and maintain GitHub issues and development backlog items
  • Help prioritize and organize development work
  • Test bug fixes and new features before release
  • Document testing results and communicate findings
  • Maintain technical and user documentation
  • Complete smaller development tasks, bug fixes, and application enhancements
  • Submit code changes through GitHub for review, * C# and ASP.NET Core MVC
  • JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • SQL Server and T-SQL
  • REST APIs and JSON
  • Entity Framework Core
  • GitHub Projects and Pull Requests
  • PowerShell
  • Playwright or other testing tools
  • Microsoft IIS
  • CI/CD concepts

Why This Role?

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and working with people. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape software improvements, solve real business problems, and grow your development skills while working alongside an experienced Lead Software Engineer.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, * 2+ years of experience in software development, application support, software testing, business analysis, or a related role

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical tasks
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, or similar source-control systems
  • Basic programming experience in at least one language
  • Understanding of databases, APIs, and web applications
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
