Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive AIX Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing IBM AIX operating systems within our enterprise infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our critical systems, supporting a broad range of applications and services., * Administer and maintain IBM AIX operating systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across all environments

Configure and monitor RAID controllers for reliable storage solutions; optimize disk I/O performance
Design and develop scalable system architectures aligned with service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and solution architecture standards
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, and PowerShell to improve efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, network configuration (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), load balancing, and microservices deployment using Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAN?, * Proven experience administering IBM AIX systems in enterprise environments with a strong understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems

Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as computer networking, load balancing solutions, firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, and cybersecurity best practices
Strong Experience with IBM Flash Systems and SAN architecture
RHEL Experience is a plus
