Disability Benefits of America, a 30-year company based in Kemah, Texas that specializes in helping people get Social Security and Veterans Administration disability benefits is seeking a detail oriented and motivated Entry-Level Visual Basic Programmer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our offices in Kemah, Texas. In this role, you will work closely with the founder of the company to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our existing suite of internal business applications. Responsibilities include code and feature development, database integration, conducting code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand end-user needs, testing and QA, application maintenance, and creating and maintaining documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for junior developers, including recent college graduates looking to gain firsthand enterprise development experience, understand core business logic, and bridge the gap between established desktop applications and modern software solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or firsthand project experience/bootcamp certification.
