Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer/Lead/Architect with extensive experience in software developrent and a strong focus on Snowilake technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Snowilake, Snowsql, and Spark, and will be responsible for leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high quality software solutions., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Snowflake, Sposal, and Spark.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Optimize and maintain existing software applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Snowflake and data engineering.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on timelines and resource allocation.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for future reference.
Requirements
Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance turning
- Proficient in Snowsqll for querying and managing Snowflake databases.
- Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics.
- Sold understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 710 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering and analytics.
- Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering successful projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
