Job description

  • We are seeking passionate, self-motivated, and creative engineers to join our AI Memory Solution team, covering AI HW/SW co-design research, system modeling, and performance analysis of next-generation AI memory and storage system architecture. We are responsible for delivering cutting-edge, custom SoC/memory interface design for memory and storage applications that can perform complex, high-performance, and low power computation most efficiently.
  • As a AI system engineer with a focus on solution hardware development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hardware architecture for our next-generation AI memory solutions. You will work closely with our system software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our energy-efficient AI computing platform., * Design and develop next-generation memory solution architecture and hardware prototypes for energy-efficient AI/ML computing infrastructure.
  • Responsible for logic design/Register-Transfer Level (RTL) entry, design quality (LINT, CDC, RDC, power, etc.), and timing closure of high-performance digital Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Collaborate with system software engineers to ensure HW/SW co-optimization.
  • Deliver memory subsystem and IP designs, including microarchitecture specification, RTL logic design, verification, and FPGA prototypes
  • Develop and maintain hardware specifications, technical documentation, and test plans.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide input on hardware system design and architecture with industry ecosystem partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, memory systems, and hardware architecture

Requirements

  • Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering or MS with 4+ years of experience in hardware design, with a focus on SoCs and memory subsystems.
  • Proven track record of expertise in digital design, including microarchitecture specification development, system modeling, RTL logic design, synthesis, timing closure and power-performance-area (PPA) analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with FPGA development environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with memory and interface technologies, such as DRAM, HBM, NVMe, CXL, and PCIe is a plus
  • Strong knowledge in AI software optimization techniques for CPU, GPU, NPU architecture is big plus.
