Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shopify Website Developer to join our innovative e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging online storefronts that deliver seamless shopping experiences. Your expertise will help us optimize website performance, enhance user experience, and implement scalable solutions that support our growing digital presence.   • Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and APIs to enhance store functionality and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible web pages using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
  • Conduct testing across multiple devices and browsers to ensure consistent performance; troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Manage version control using GitHub or SVN; deploy updates through CI/CD pipelines for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, system architecture, and codebases for future reference.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Strong proficiency in front-end web development including HTML, CSS (and SCSS), JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, React, and Vue.js frameworks.

  • Extensive experience with Shopify platform customization using Liquid templates; familiarity with Shopify APIs.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices including SEO optimization and web design principles for high-converting online stores.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, web services (SOAP), and third-party plugins within Shopify or other CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
  • Familiarity with server-side technologies such as PHP, Python, Node.js, ASP.NET (.NET), Ruby on Rails; understanding of system architecture principles.
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite; proficiency in SQL queries.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible; experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes.
  • Understanding of UX principles and wireframing techniques to create intuitive user flows and improve overall user experience.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Trello or Jira; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
