Job description

The Senior Workday Analyst plays a critical role in the continued evolution, optimization, and expansion of Pharmavite’s HR technology landscape, with a primary focus on Workday. This position serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders by translating business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, data integrity, and organizational effectiveness.

The Senior Workday Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday modules including Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Absence, Reporting, and Analytics. This role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels to deliver sustainable solutions aligned with business objectives and governance standards.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Configure, maintain , and optimize Workday modules including Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Absence, Reporting, and Analytics.

  • Lead the full solution lifecycle from requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and post-implementation support.

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, implementation plans, and Workday configuration strategies.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders by recommending best practices and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives, HR leadership, managers, and end users.

  • Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation initiatives that maximize Workday capabilities and support evolving business needs.

  • Partner with the Global HRIS team to ensure enhancements, configurations, and projects align with governance standards and enterprise architecture.

  • Collaborate closely with AMS partners and cross-functional teams to prioritize, manage, and deliver enhancements and strategic initiatives.

  • Support and maintain Workday business processes, security configurations, integrations, EIBs, web services (APIs), and data flows.

  • Develop and maintain workforce analytics, KPI reporting, dashboards, and executive insights to support decision-making and workforce planning.

  • Lead biannual Workday release reviews, impact assessments, testing coordination, feature evaluations, and adoption planning.

  • Perform ongoing audits, reconciliations, and data quality reviews to ensure compliance, accuracy, and process integrity.

  • Partner with Information Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Internal Audit teams to maintain appropriate security frameworks and compliance requirements.

  • Provide support for other HR technologies including Visier , HR Acuity, JIRA, and related platforms.

  • Stay current on Workday innovations, AI capabilities, and industry best practices through active participation in Workday Community and professional networks.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workday?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The ideal candidate is a recognized Workday subject matter expert who demonstrates a balance of technical expertise , business partnership, and consultative problem-solving. They possess the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and deliver scalable solutions in a complex and evolving environment.

In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of HRIS and/or Workday experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration across multiple functional areas.

  • Experience designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions in a complex, global environment.

  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, including business processes, security, reporting, integrations, and data management.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, implementation plans, and system designs.

  • Ability to leverage Workday’s emerging AI/ML capabilities to improve HR processes, workforce insights, skills management, talent recommendations, and operational efficiency

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively partner across organizational levels, functions, and global regions.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience leading change management, user adoption, training, and cross-functional initiatives.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee and organizational information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Workday certifications in Core HCM, Reporting, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent, or related modules

  • Experience supporting additional HR technologies such as Visier , HR Acuity, JIRA, or similar platforms.

  • Experience partnering with external AMS providers, implementation consultants, or managed services teams.

  • Knowledge of HR data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.

National Target Base Pay Range: $94 ,000 - $156,000 . The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $104,000 - $173,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
