Job description

Will vary depending on the timing of the candidate’s start, skill set, and project duration. Generally, the position will involve some combination of the design activities described in the Key Deliverables section below. Key Deliverables Test station & fixture designs (Electrical schematic capture & PCB design), Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned technical tasks in a team-setting

  • Support any scheduled project meetings

  • Report progress peridocally (daily, weekly,etc.) as required by the project lead.

Tools / Technologies Required

  • Automated test software (C/C++/C#, LabView, TestStand)

  • ORCAD and/or Cadence Allegro for PCB design, experience in any of the following: Power, RF, Digital Logic

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, The individual comes up to speed quickly, has an impact on our projects developing test stations/fixtures/automated test software, has familiarity with a process-heavy work environment. Our projects are nearly always team-based (5-10 engineers) so attributes such as strong collaboration and communication, in addition to technical aptitude, are essential for achieving success within our department. Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant engineering experience

  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Core Technical Skills (Non-negotiables)

  • Electrical Test Instrument/Equipment experience

  • Power, RF, Digital Logic, Analog circuit knowledge

  • Automated Test Software development experience

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with project leadership, project cost and schedule management, i.e. EVMS, MS Project

  • DoW (DoD) project development life-cycle processes
