Job description

KAPS Solutions is seeking experienced Senior Data Scientists to support a future Intelligence Community opportunity. This position will support advanced data engineering, analytics, and operational data pipeline initiatives within a mission-focused environment supporting national security objectives., * Develop, maintain, and optimize operational data pipelines supporting multiple data formats and interfaces.

  • Design and implement data models, analytical workflows, and automation solutions.
  • Integrate and analyze data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and applications using Python and other programming languages.
  • Leverage APIs to query systems, automate processes, and support data migration efforts.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to support operational decision-making and data monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and mission stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Support modernization initiatives involving cloud technologies, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Programming languages?, The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, developing automated workflows, integrating data from multiple sources, and communicating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience developing and sustaining operational data pipelines.
  • Experience leveraging APIs for data integration, querying, and migration.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and analytical workflows.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with NGA enterprise solutions, including NGA CORE and NGA MLOps.
  • Familiarity with Government Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and Government Non-Person Entity (NPE) certificates.
  • Experience implementing Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards and dynamic visualizations for monitoring operational data pipelines.
  • Experience with machine learning, automation, geospatial analytics, or intelligence-related data environments.
