Agile Methodology Applicant Tracking Systems Data Centers

Job description

As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager within Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE), you will lead end-user device lifecycle replacement programs across the fulfillment and logistics network. Your primary focus will be executing large-scale handheld scanner device lifecycle programs, coordinating regional deployment waves, managing vendor relationships, and driving field execution to meet replacement milestones before end-of-support. You will also support power infrastructure lifecycle programs and contribute to the development of a lifecycle batching mechanism that coordinates multi-program site visits into single execution events, reducing site disruption, DPM dependency, and deployment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-user device lifecycle replacement programs from planning through field execution across multiple regions.

  • Develop and maintain deployment schedules, wave plans, and site-level tracking using standard project management tools.

  • Coordinate with vendors, supply chain, field IT, and DPM teams to resolve constraints and maintain schedule.

  • Support power infrastructure lifecycle programs (UPS, PDU, ATS) as a secondary workstream.

  • Contribute to lifecycle batching design, aligning multi-program deployments into coordinated site visits.

  • Evaluate deployment complexity and risk; escalate issues and arrange technical reviews when needed.

  • Own program communications including milestones, risks, and path-to-green reporting.

  • Work independently while coordinating across engineering, operations, and partner teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure or device deployment program management experience.

  • Experience managing large-scale hardware replacement or refresh programs.

  • Strong understanding of lifecycle management concepts (EOSL, fleet health, wave planning).

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across vendors, field teams, and engineering.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • PMP, Agile, or Lean Sigma certifications.

  • Experience with fulfillment center or logistics site infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with end-user device management at scale (scanners, handhelds, mobile computers).

  • Track record of delivering deployment programs across multiple regions simultaneously., This is a full-time, 12-month contract position located onsite. The role requires less than 10% domestic travel. English proficiency is required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining effective collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
