Job description
The Change Management and Adoption Consultant will be responsible for supporting our client with their electronic health record (EHR) implementation. This position will help prepare end users for the new EHR through on site support utilizing change management and training tools. You will be the go-to resource for new users of the system, providing them change management tools and resources, analyzing workflows end-to-end, answering questions, solutioning problems, and helping users get set for success when the new system is live. Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the landscape will be critical in ensuring alignment with program objectives.
This position will be instrumental in supporting training, change management, go-live, and sustainment activities. The candidate will support the development of work products and deliverables; establish relationships with primary clients and stakeholders; and identify opportunities to improve processes. The candidate will also support business development across the Department of Veterans Affairs account team.
- Support change management implementation and execute the overarching change management strategy
- Deliver change management communication to inform the organization of the OCM program and upcoming organizational change
- Provide insight and manage coordinated change impacts across the impacted organizations /personas
- Support pre-go-live activities including training and adoption events
- Guide client conversations towards effective outcomes
- Educate business partners about the value of change management and engage the community of change practitioners across the organization
- Build relationships with your service line staff to ensure you are a key POC for them throughout the weeks leading up to go live
- Work with clients and team to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop slide decks / presentations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track progress on initiatives and workstreams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3-5 (5+ years preferred) of change management or training experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on site during pre- and post go-live activities
- Experience working directly in the Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, administrative staff, or other end user
- Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications
- Demonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documents
- Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership
- Ability to managing deadlines and recurring deliverables
**MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 100%**
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Organizational Change Management or Business Administration
- Experience in health care information technology (HCIT) consulting with a major healthcare organization or large-scale IT transformation project
- Experience as a clinician
- PROSCI Change Management Certification
- CCMP Certification

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
