Job description

Analyze and optimize radar system performance, including understanding and/or development of modeling and simulation of:

  • Analog and digital signal processing;
  • Electromagnetic (EM) wave properties, wave interactions including reflection and scattering, cross section, attenuation, interference and clutter, wave kinematics, and metrics based on the radar range equation, antenna gain, pulse length, and beamwidth;
  • Probability, statistics, and random variables.
  • Embedded system software (in Ada);
  • Work in a highly dynamic environment that promotes team interaction, collaboration, and problem solving.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Signal processing?, Do you have a Bachelor of Science?, * US Citizenship.

  • The position requires that candidates currently hold an active secret level security clearance to access classified information.
  • Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or other fields with directly applicable experience, from an accredited university.
  • Strong programming skills with experience in C++.
  • Competency with Red Hat Linux, * 3+ years of experience with Radar/sensor systems operating at L, S, C, or X band.
  • Proficiency with radar system simulation and modeling tools, such as MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Ada, Python or Java.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
