Job description

Seeking Data Center Technicians to support installation, decommissioning, and maintenance of network and cabling infrastructure within data center environments. Candidates must be open to converting to full-time employment after the contract period., * Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure

  • Pull, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot copper/fiber cabling
  • Read blueprints, floor plans, and technical documentation
  • Install ladder racks, seismic bracing, and network equipment
  • Perform fiber splicing and cable testing (OTDR, DSX 5000)
  • Maintain data center cleanliness and safety standards
  • Complete documentation and submit test results

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications low voltage systems?, * Data Center experience

  • Low-voltage cabling
  • Fiber/Copper installation and troubleshooting
  • Decommissioning experience
  • Telecom hand tools knowledge
  • Blueprint/floor plan reading
  • Customer service mindset

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Pull cables and climb ladders
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Requirements:

  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and employment verification
  • Must be available onsite (no remote work)
  • Must be eligible for contract-to-hire without sponsorship
