Inshell Lead (Almonds)

The In-Shell Packing Supervisor will oversee the in-shell processing line, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met. This role involves supervising the production team, operating machinery, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output., * Supervise and coordinate daily in-shell almond production operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency goals are achieved.

• · Lead, train, and develop production employees by assigning work, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and addressing performance issues in accordance with company policies.
• · Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements ,including HACCP, GMPs, and company procedures.
• · Monitor production processes and product quality, conduct inspections and implementcorrective actions as necessary to maintain customer and regulatory standards.
• · Oversee the operation, set up, and troubleshooting production equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• · Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and promptly report or address safety hazards, equipment issues, quality concerns, and workplace incidents.
• · Maintain accurate production records and data entry such as production output, downtime, quality checks, employee attendance, and operational issues.
• · Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Other Management teams to ensure efficient workflow and continuous process improvement.
• ·Collaborate and communicate with other shifts in the Inshell packing line.

Do you have experience in Production planning?, * Proven experience in food processing or agricultural commodities, particularly with nuts or similar products.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with processing equipment used in inshell almond production is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance within food manufacturing.
• Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure relevant to manufacturing operations including systems such as AWS cloud services, RESTful APIs, and database management (MySQL, SQL).
• Experience with software development tools such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks (React Express), Python, C++, C#, .NET, and application development environments like VBA or Linux-based systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies for project management and process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for managing software updates and collaboration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for deploying scalable solutions related to production data analysis or automation tools.
