Job description

Lead the end-to-end SAP AVC workstream
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable AVC solutions
Design, configure, and migrate AVC models from LO-VC
Collaborate with Solution Architects, SAP Solution Quotation teams, and external implementation partners
Lead technical discussions across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Pricing, and IT
Support testing, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare activities
Ensure solutions align with SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles
Leverage modern extensibility options including BAdIs and RAP Framework

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD AVC Consultant / Workstream Lead with deep expertise in SAP Advance Variant Configuration (AVC) to lead a complex LO-VC to AVC transformation for a Public Sector client. Candidates with Life Sciences experience and highly configurable product environments are strongly preferred., * Strong hands-on experience with SAP Advance Variant Configuration (AVC)

Expertise in designing and implementing:
Procedures
Constraints
Super BOMs (Super Bill of Materials)
Variant Tables
Deep knowledge of:
AVC Configuration Profiles
Object Dependencies
Class Type Management
Proven experience in LO-VC to AVC Migration
Strong expertise migrating P-Functions to BAdIs
Experience with model conversion strategies and data migration
Hands-on experience with PDR (Product Data Replication) for AVC model migration
Experience integrating SAP AVC/SAP S/4HANA with SAP Solution Quotation and Salesforce (SFDC)
Strong understanding of Quote-to-Order processes and configuration data synchronization
Experience designing and implementing complex AVC enhancements and custom developments
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize high-volume configurable product scenarios, * Experience in Life Sciences or industries with highly configurable products
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture
Experience with SAP Solution Quotation
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Ability to drive complex enterprise transformation initiatives
