Cybersecurity Analyst (2+ years IT experience preferred)

Do you have experience in Security data analysis?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of progressive IT experience. This position supports a corporate office and two out of state manufacturing plants. Strong communication skills are required to interact with all levels of company personnel.

General Scope of Responsibility: Involvement with cybersecurity systems, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID management, and end user support specifically focusing on securing cloud infrastructure, managing user identities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. Responsibilities range from enforcing Zero Trust security policies to providing hands-on desktop troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Expertise in threat mitigation, identity management, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Security tools, and specific role-based certifications.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support and/or network administration.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with network tools and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus, proxies, firewalls, and intrusion detection concepts related to the field.
• Endpoint management, particularly with a variety of tools like computers, phones, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
• Knowledge of and experience working with network data, logs, and other types of attack artifacts.
• Comfort working with antivirus and security software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills., * Associate (Preferred), * progressive IT : 2 years (Preferred)
