Job description

  • Develop and maintain web application frontends using a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as React or Angular.
  • Build backend services and RESTful APIs and implement application business logic.
  • Design and work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Deploy, run, and maintain applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Translate requirements and designs into working, well-structured features.
  • Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
  • Integrate with internal and third-party APIs and services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the stack.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and other engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Hands-on proficiency across a modern frontend framework (React or Angular) and a server-side stack (Node.js, Java, or Python) with RESTful API design.
  • Production experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to clean, tested, maintainable code and active participation in code reviews.
  • A passion for building quality software and learning new technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud-native design and serverless components.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
  • Exposure to UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Experience working in an enterprise or government delivery context.
  • Cloud certifications., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proficiency in a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or similar) and strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid backend development skills (e.g., Node.js, Java, or Python) and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Understanding of application security fundamentals.
  • Experience writing automated tests and debugging across the stack.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
