  • Establish IAM architecture standards for secure, scalable integration of key IAM platforms across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments
  • Lead and develop the IAM team, providing coaching and technical direction while ensuring strong execution across engineering, delivery, and operations
  • Manage team operations, including on-call support and escalation coverage, to ensure reliable delivery and support of IAM services
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver IAM solutions and services that are secure, effective, and aligned to enterprise needs
  • Support IAM governance processes, including lifecycle management, least-privilege access, and access re-certification activities
  • Communicate IAM roadmap progress, key risks, service performance, and program metrics to senior leadership
  • Deliver presentations and communications to build stakeholder awareness, alignment, and support for IAM priorities and changes
  • Manage IAM vendor relationships and technology evaluations, including requirements, solution assessments, business cases, and support for platform selection and procurement
  • Manage IAM budget planning, vendor spend, and licensing in support of roadmap and operational priorities
  • Ensure IAM capabilities and practices align with relevant security frameworks, internal standards, and audit or compliance requirements, including SOX control objectives and evidence needs
  • Operate as a player-coach by providing technical expertise and hands-on support for major IAM initiatives and complex issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related discipline
  • 15+ years of related experience in IAM, security engineering, or related technology roles, including experience leading teams and delivering enterprise IAM programs, services, and operations
  • 6+ years of people management experience
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent IAM, PAM, cloud, or security vendor-specific certifications preferred
  • Hands-on experience implementing, integrating, and operating enterprise IAM platforms and services across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments
  • Strong expertise across IAM capabilities, including PAM, IGA, access management, phishing-resistant MFA, federation, and related identity services
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise IAM platforms and technologies including SailPoint, Ping Identity, AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise PAM solutions such as BeyondTrust
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations with identity providers and enterprise applications using protocols like SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and related standards
