Job description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA Testing Suite to validate software functionalities across various platforms including mobile (Android and iOS) and web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create comprehensive test cases, and translate them into automated tests aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
  • Execute automated tests regularly within CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or TFS to ensure rapid feedback on code quality.
  • Perform API testing utilizing RESTful services, SOAP web services, and tools such as Postman or similar platforms to verify data exchange integrity.
  • Conduct mobile testing on Android and iOS devices, ensuring compatibility, performance, and usability of mobile applications across different devices and operating systems.
  • Analyze test results to identify root causes of failures, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and document defects clearly for developers’ resolution.
  • Support release management by validating new features through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring smooth deployment processes.

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or VB.NET for developing robust test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing and integration with TOSCA automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks for Android and iOS platforms including Appium or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of API testing methodologies involving RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and related tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Experience working within Agile environments utilizing tools such as Jira, GitHub/GitLab repositories for version control and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of database query languages including SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) for data validation during tests.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for continuous testing integration.
  • Strong analytical skills in data analysis and troubleshooting to perform effective root cause analysis during defect investigations.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter is a plus to assess system scalability under load conditions.
