Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AI Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms that support our enterprise-scale initiatives in an IC customer space. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments.   • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector
  • Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters)
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases
  • AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP
  • Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations) and implementation for large-scale data systems
  • Containers/Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions

  • Designing multi-modal databases that integrate multiple data types, including:
  • Relational
  • Spatial
  • JSON
  • Graph
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context
  • Creating and deploying RESTful APIs; Oracle API Gateway
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional) are a plus
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
